MansaWear

Stylish & versatile designs with a purpose

We’ve made and continue to make a positive impact on our Ghanaian vendors, our customers, and global community. We source our fabrics and produce in Ghana.

A Cycle of Empowerment

We’ve made and continue to make a positive impact on our Ghanaian vendors, our customers, and global community.
We source our fabrics and produce our quality clothing in Ghana.

From Ghana to you

Mansawear partners with the premier fabric manufacturer in West Africa to make the highest quality outfits made from colorfast, non-shrinking, 300 plus count cotton.

We work with two dedicated clothing manufacturers in Ghana, with the capability to produce standard U.S. clothing size according to the buyer’s specification.

With 80 plus combined years of tailoring and dress making experience, MansaWear’s production team can produce up to 7,500 pieces a month.

Importance of Tradition

Mansawear doesn’t only provide employment in Ghana by sourcing with a local manufacturer but helps in maintaining the art of dressmaking.

MansaWear employs an experienced group of seamstresses who are highly trained in the intricate method of free-cutting as well as pattern making!

This fine art of garment making is still learned through apprenticeships, ensuring workers have the skills to consistently produce exquisite, high-quality clothing.

GIVING BACK

We are so fortunate to work with such an amazing and giving group of women in both the U.S. and Ghana.

Whether Mansawear produces in Rochester or Ghana, we make it our mission to give back in Rochester via education in our K-12 classrooms and Kenya by supporting a 40-child orphanage in Ulu, Kenya. Ulu is only a couple of hours from Nairobi.

We even have one of our seamstresses donate every penny earned from producing the masks, hats, bow ties, and chemo caps to help those in need in East Africa.
